Volunteer Opportunities

To volunteer with us, create an account (or login if you already have one) by clicking "login" at the top of the page. Once you create an account, you can view all of our volunteer listings and apply to the ones that best fit for you! A member of our team will contact you shortly.

Shop Monitor

Do you have experience working in wood, metal, or ceramics studios? We are actively seeking creative individuals to assist our members on projects and maintain our shops during open hours. Shop monitor duties include cleaning and organizing the shops, assisting members and students on projects, managing machinery use, maintaining material stock, and coordinating class schedules.

General Hands Volunteer
General hands volunteers help in many different aspects. We are often reorganizing machinery, breaking down material donations, cleaning, painting, gardening, and much more. If you are looking to get involved and support our mission but don't know where to start, becoming a general hands volunteer is a great starting point.

Internship Opportunities

Internships are available in the fields of production, business development, outreach and social media, and specific disciplines (wood, metal, ceramics, digital fabrication).

Email Elazar, elazar@hatchworkshop.org, for more information on current
internship opportunities.

Resident Artist Program

As a HATCH Workshop Resident Artist, artists receive complete access to our facility and artistic development resources in exchange for spearheading a project, teaching classes, or building a community beautification piece. Residencies are available for short and long term projects and are chosen through an application process. HATCH Workshop currently does not offer housing for traveling artists-in-residence but can facilitate finding housing in Stockton.

If you are interested in becoming a Resident Artist, please fill out this form.
