Letter for Support

To Whom it May Concern:

Over the past five years, HATCH Workshop has provided critical access to tools, education, and community for Stockton's residents. Now is the opportunity to take the next step by purchasing the building we've rented since Summer 2019. Owning the space will allow for expanded programming, ensure long-term stability for the maker space and community center, and stimulate local wealth building through professional creative opportunities.

We are committed to uplifting all peoples through education, skill-building, and access to resources for creation. HATCH stands for inclusion. We believe that all peoples, regardless of background or identity, deserve the right to express themselves safely and develop skills they can identify with. This extends equally to those who have been historically underrepresented.

As a nonprofit, we rely on the generosity of donors like you who share our vision for
empowering Stockton through hands-on learning. Your contribution will directly support the purchase of our facilities. With a permanent, owned location, we can sustainably offer more classes, events, mentorships, and open studio hours for the foreseeable future.

Our makerspace is vital because it provides access to industrial tools and workspace that would otherwise be inaccessible. Now more than ever, spaces like HATCH are needed to rebuild local economies and bring people together.

We hope you will consider HATCH in your year-end giving plans. Your donation will make a direct impact in Stockton by helping acquire our new home. Please reach out with any questions.
